Ochi Ohna Ikwerre IX (1997 - 2000)
Born May 17, 1927, Chief S. O. I. Amadi Nna was a distinguished agricultural expert and administrator. Academically, he attended Saint Stephen's Anglican Primary School Omerelu (1938-1942), Saint Peter's Primary School Isiokpo (1942-1945), and Okrika Grammar School (1949-1953). He proceeded to the School of Agriculture Moor Plantation Ibadan (1954-1955), School of Agriculture Umudike (1961-1962), and Cornell University Ithaca, New York, United States of America where he obtained his first degree and master's degree in Agriculture majoring in Agronomy (Crop Production).
Traditionally, he held the title Ochi Ohna Ikwerre IX and served as President General of Ogbakor Ikwerre from 1997 to 2000.
His contributions to Ogbakor Ikwerre and the Ikwerre nation were notable. His work career included serving as Agricultural Officer in charge of market garden farm Enugu under the Eastern Nigerian government (1966), Agricultural Officer Grade One at Rivers State Ministry of Agriculture (1970), and Senior Agricultural Officer in charge of Federal Ministry of Agriculture Lagos (1972).
