Chinogonum Denne CHUKU, grandson of Odudu CHUKU wizidoha born to Mr and Mrs Rolland waleruigwe CHUKU, a former Principal accountant of the Rivers State government, has his first and masters degree at the University of PortHarcourt and Ph.D in sociology at the University of Uyo.
Chinogonum, who hails from Ogbogoro in Akpor Kingdom of Rivers State of Nigeria, he has published many articles in scholarly journals and co-authored two books: Akpor; a perspective of Ikwerre history and Onomastics in Ikwerre. He is the author of tourism and sustainable development in Nigeria and also author of understanding sociological perspectives. He is currently the PRO of Ogbakor Ikwerre and president of Oganuruwhu Akpor. He is also a fellow of the cooperative institute of administration of Nigeria, he has also served as secretary of UNIPORT alumuni association and later as vice chairman Rivers State chapter. He has served as secretary and chairman academic staff union of polytechnic captain Elechi Amadi polytechnic chapter, where he presently lecturers. He also teaches Cambridge A level sociology an instructor with Rivers State University and National open University of Nigeria.
Chinogonum is happily married with children.
